“E-learning and Accessibility”
The Aula Magna of the University of Pavia on 11th September 2008 hosts the international conference “E-learning and Accessibility”, which will present results of the eYES project, dedicated to e-learning for visually impaired users.
eYES, a project led by Multimedia Campus/Opera Multimedia, is funded by the European Union within the Leonardo da Vinci programme.
eYES aims at reducing the “digital divide”, between European citizens who can benefit from IT technologies applied to education, and European citizens who cannot access the same technologies because of their disability. Specifically, the project aims at innovating national vocational training systems and practices addressed to Visually Impaired Persons.
The e-learning platform and the online courses developed durino the project will be presented during the conference.
